Statutory Registers

Every company is required by law to keep its statutory books, and most don't. Enter your company name, and ours builds the full set from the public record in about a minute — then keeps it in good order for as long as you subscribe.

What it does

You give it a company name or number. It reads the public record at Companies House — including older filings that only exist as scanned images — and assembles a complete, presentable set of statutory registers ready to review, complete and keep.

  • Registers of members, directors, PSCs, allotments and transfers, plus share certificates and outstanding filings, in one book
  • Shareholder lists reconstructed from confirmation statements, annual returns and incorporation documents, with transfers attributed from and to the parties involved where the record allows it
  • A red flag when the register and the public record disagree — for example when the shares in issue don't match the members listed — so gaps get fixed rather than buried
  • One-click updates from Companies House whenever something changes, with your register cleaned and re-checked each time
  • Your own logo and colours if you want them, a clean printable book, and your data exportable to Excel whenever you want it

Why it matters

The statutory registers are the company's own legal record of who owns it and who runs it — Companies House is only a mirror, and an imperfect one. Banks ask for the registers when you open accounts or borrow. Buyers and investors ask for them in due diligence, and untidy books slow deals and dent prices. Most small companies have never written theirs down at all.

This puts them right in an afternoon, and keeps them right from then on. Where the public record itself doesn't add up — and we find that more often than you might expect — the register says so plainly instead of papering over it.
